Social Media Executive

We are looking for a creative and driven Social Media Specialist to join our team of The ChandigarhBytes.

As a #SocialMediaExecutive, you'll work with the team to manage the regular content on the profile, develop a content & brand strategy, producing good content, analyzing user data & creating valuable campaigns.

This role in The ChandigarhBytes requires a deep understanding of the Chandigarh - Tricity Region - geographical & demographical situations, content creation - creating original content across various social media platforms, management, and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content for social media platforms, including posts, stories, videos, and images for use on social media
• Manage all aspects of social media channels, including content planning, scheduling, publishing, and monitoring.
• Monitor social media trends, best practices, and emerging platforms to stay ahead of the curve.
• Promoting & marketing products, services, and content over social media, in a way that is consistent with brand and it's social media strategy.
• Engage with the audience by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Develop and execute social media strategies to achieve marketing goals and objectives.
• Keeping track of data and analyzing the performance of social media campaigns
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media efforts with overall marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Analyse social media performance metrics and generate reports to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and tools to optimize social media presence and effectiveness.

Qualifications/Skills

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with graphic design and video editing software is a plus.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
• Consumer psychology
• Proficient in social media management tools and analytics platforms.
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.

Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of social media marketing experience.

• Previous work experience as a Social Media Analyst, Social Media Strategist, Social Media Executive, or a similar position.
