As a highly creative and hands-on Social Media Lead at Little Joys, your primary responsibility is to elevate the digital presence of the brand to the next level. This role requires a strategic mindset combined with a hands-on approach, catering to individuals who enjoy creating innovative content, experimenting with new ideas, and taking full ownership of the outcomes. Your main tasks will include leading the growth of Little Joys" Instagram account at scale and initiating the development of the brand's YouTube channel from scratch, using a first-principles approach. You will be responsible for the end-to-end content lifecycle, which encompasses strategizing, brainstorming creative ideas, content creation, publishing, and optimizing performance. Ensuring a consistent high creative quality, platform-native storytelling, and alignment with the brand voice in every engaging post and reel is crucial. In addition, you should feel comfortable appearing on screen yourself and coordinating with other individuals, such as moms, kids, or creators, to produce captivating content. Staying updated on the latest social media trends and adapting them effectively to suit the Little Joys brand is imperative. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure that the content resonates with the audience and drives both brand affinity and business results should be one of your key focuses. As an ideal candidate for this role, you should possess a strong background in social media, particularly on Instagram and YouTube, with at least 2 years of experience. Having prior experience in building or managing a creator page or community, regardless of its size, will be advantageous. Your exceptional creativity, ability to balance strategy and execution effectively, comfort in front of the camera, and skill in directing others are essential qualities. You should demonstrate a high level of ownership, motivation to establish a brand from the ground up, and a keen interest in social storytelling, insights, and audience engagement.
