Social Media and Website Manager

A social media executive manages an organisation's social media accounts. They create content, monitor & analyse performance and engage with users across multiple platforms to establish a strong-footed digital presence for the firm.

They oversee the company's marketing strategy, leverage social media to drive revenue, manage the brand’s online reputation and monitor customer sentiment across social channels.

• Though Social Media Executives can hail from varied academic backgrounds, having a digital marketing certification or a degree in marketing is common.
• They also have a good understanding of analytics tools, which are required to decide which posts get more traction and pivot strategies accordingly.

The role and responsibilities of social media executives include engaging with the audience and persuading them to do so. They also possess a solid understanding of SEO, how content affects search rankings, and how people react to different types of content on social media channels. They are efficient communicators, have creative mindsets and are quick thinkers.
