Job Description

Role Overview

SOC Architect / Lead

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement
SOC architecture
(Elastic SIEM, SOAR, threat intel integrations, alert pipelines).
Lead SOC Engineers in building and tuning
custom dashboards & correlation rules
.
Define detection logic, anomaly detection, and proactive
threat hunting methodologies
.
Establish
incident response workflows
, escalation paths, and SLAs.
Integrate
global threat intelligence feeds
(MISP, OTX, AbuseIPDB, commercial feeds).
Ensure SOC alignment with
compliance frameworks
(ISO 27001, PCI-DSS, SOC 2, GDPR, CERT-In).
Oversee
reporting to management & CISOs
with KPI/SLA dashboards.
Mentor SOC team, conduct training, and drive continuous improvement.
Act as a
technical point of contact
for customers and executives.

Required Skills

8-12+ years in cybersecurity, with 4+ years in SOC leadership/architecture roles.
Proven expertise in
Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Beats)
.
Strong knowledge of SIEM, SOAR, XDR, threat hunting, incident response.
Experience in
SOC setup from scratch, scaling, and optimization
.
Hands-on experience integrating cloud & on-prem logs.
Familiarity with
telecom data analysis (CDR, IPDR, PCAP)
is a bonus.
Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field.
Preferred certifications:
Elastic Certified Engineer/Analyst, CISSP, CISM, GIAC GCIA/GCIH/GMON, OSCP
