SOC Analyst II

Role Overview: As a Security Analyst at UST, you will be responsible for monitoring cyber security incidents for global customers in a 24x7x365 operations team under the supervision of Team Lead or senior team members. Your role involves responding to low and medium complexity incidents, following documented playbooks for consistent response, ensuring documentation as per predefined standards, and adhering to defined SOC processes and Information Security policies. Key Responsibilities: - Monitor cyber security incidents from SIEM and multiple sources under supervision to ensure compliance with SLA - Respond independently to low and medium complexity incidents - Follow documented playbooks for consistent and repeatable response - Ensure proper documentation including in CDC/SIEM work log as per predefined standards - Communicate and escalate incidents as per defined process - Assist in the review process for junior team members - Adhere to defined SOC processes and Information Security policies - Work in accordance with the playbook to monitor incidents in the CDC Platform/SIEM Tool - Process incidents through analysis, triage, and resolution under supervision - Complete documentation and create reports as per defined standards - Continuously learn and stay updated on cyber threats - Assist junior team members where possible Qualifications Required: - 1 to 3 years of experience in SOC operations with a global organization - University Degree in Cyber Security or Bachelors in Science/Engineering with training in cyber security - Proficiency in Cybersecurity Incident Management process - Intermediate understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and cybersecurity incidents - Knowledge of ISMS principles, relevant frameworks, and desirable training/certifications in Ethical Hacking, SIEM Tool, etc. About UST: UST is a global digital transformation solutions provider with over 30,000 employees in 30 countries.
