Snowflake Engineer

As an experienced Snowflake Engineer, your role will involve designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native data solutions to support analytics and decision-making in a multi-ERP enterprise landscape. You will be responsible for a combination of architecture, hands-on engineering, and solution delivery using technologies such as Snowflake, Power BI, Azure, Matillion, and dbt. Your contributions will help establish the foundation for real-time insights, cross-system integrations, and AI/ML use cases that drive business impact. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design and implement high-performance, cloud-native data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion, transformation, and delivery. - Develop reusable data ingestion and modeling frameworks utilizing Snowflake, Azure Cloud, dbt, and Matillion. - Ensure alignment of data architecture with enterprise data models, master data strategy, and real-time integration requirements. - Partner with analytics teams to enhance Microsoft Fabric and Power BI capabilities for real-time, cross-ERP reporting and decision intelligence. - Facilitate a self-service analytics ecosystem by establishing scalable and reliable data foundations. - Lead integration architecture for multi-ERP environments, ensuring alignment with enterprise object models. - Support M&A initiatives by overseeing data assessment, mapping, and onboarding of new acquisitions into the BI ecosystem. - Evaluate existing data assets to identify opportunities for optimization, standardization, and consolidation. **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a minimum of 2 years in building and scaling data solutions in Azure Cloud. - Proficiency in Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, Event Hub, Functions, and Power BI. - Advanced skills in SQL development, including complex query optimization and data modeling (star/snowflake schema). - Strong familiarity with Matillion, dbt, and modern ELT frameworks. - Ability to connect technical solutions with strategic business objectives. - Exposure to real-time pipelines, event-driven architectures, and composable enterprise designs. - Experience with multi-ERP or CRM ecosystems. - Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with business, product, and technology teams. **Preferred Experience:** - Background in distribution, B2B, or logistics industries. - Exposure to data science workflows or AI/ML use cases. - Knowledge of data governance, MDM, and cataloging tools such as Purview or Alation. - Understanding of DevOps for Data (CI/CD, Terraform, GitOps). - Experience with M&A integration projects from a data/BI perspective.
