The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database administration, with a focus on Snowflake, and a deep understanding of cloud environments, specifically GCP Cloud. If you are passionate about leveraging the power of cloud data warehousing technology and are ready to contribute to innovative projects, we encourage you to apply. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer and maintain Snowflake databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. - Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures in Snowflake. - Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to design and manage data solutions. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Snowflake and GCP Cloud environments. - Perform regular backups and coordinate disaster recovery strategies. - Optimize query performance and monitor storage usage and costs related to Snowflake. - Provide technical support and guidance for Snowflake-related projects and initiatives. - Stay updated with the latest features and enhancements in Snowflake and GCP Cloud, and incorporate best practices into operations. **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with at least 3 years in Snowflake administration. - Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and functionality. - Proficient in GCP Cloud and its integrated services. Experience with Google Cloud Storage and data transfer is a plus. - Expertise in SQL and performance tuning of the database. - Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
