We are seeking a skilled Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Snowflake data platform, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our data warehouse environment.

This role includes support, reporting, deployment, and maintenance of the Snowflake database.

Administer, monitor, and maintain the Snowflake environment, including data loading and query performance tuning.

Provide technical support for Snowflake-related issues and assist users in troubleshooting.

Develop and automate reports to track database performance, usage, and operational metrics for stakeholders.

Manage the deployment of database changes, ensuring smooth transitions with minimal disruption.

Regularly perform maintenance tasks, including updates, patching, and performance tuning.

Analyze and optimize SQL queries, warehouse configurations, and resource usage for enhanced performance and cost reduction.

Implement and manage data security policies, access controls, and encryption to safeguard sensitive information.

Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and provide support.

Create and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures. Diagnose and resolve database-related issues promptly to minimize downtime and impact on business operations.

Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices for using Snowflake.
