Snowflake DBA

You are a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA) looking to join a team in Mumbai, India. Your main responsibility will be to manage, maintain, and optimize the Snowflake data warehouse to ensure stability, performance, and scalability. This role is crucial for supporting the growing data infrastructure, particularly in the private equity sector. Your key responsibilities will include overseeing the day-to-day operation of the Snowflake data warehouse, optimizing the database for efficiency, implementing security policies, collaborating with cross-functional teams, monitoring usage and costs, ensuring smooth data migrations, providing on-call support, tuning SQL queries, and staying up-to-date on Snowflake releases and best practices. To qualify for this role, you must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in database administration, with a strong focus on Snowflake. You should possess in-depth knowledge of Snowflake architecture, proficiency in Snowflake SQL, expertise in role-based access control, and the ability to manage large-scale data environments effectively. Experience with Snowflake best practices, data integration tools, and cloud technologies is also required. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team are essential.
