As a Snowflake Database Administrator (DBA) at R Systems in Noida, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining Snowflake databases to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security. Your expertise in database administration and Snowflake, along with a deep understanding of cloud environments, specifically GCP Cloud, will be crucial in collaborating with various stakeholders to design and manage data solutions. **Key Responsibilities:** - Administer and maintain Snowflake databases, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security. - Implement and manage data governance policies and procedures in Snowflake. - Collaborate with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to design and manage data solutions. - Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to Snowflake and GCP Cloud environments. - Perform regular backups and coordinate disaster recovery strategies. - Optimize query performance and monitor storage usage and costs related to Snowflake. - Provide technical support and guidance for Snowflake-related projects and initiatives. - Stay updated with the latest features and enhancements in Snowflake and GCP Cloud, and incorporate best practices into operations. **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience as a Database Administrator, with at least 3 years in Snowflake administration. - Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, features, and functionality. - Proficient in GCP Cloud and its integrated services. Experience with Google Cloud Storage and data transfer is a plus. - Expertise in SQL and performance tuning of the database. - Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork skills.
