About the Role

We are seeking a specialist in SME and Corporate Insurance Underwriting with a flair for Technomarketing

combining technical insurance expertise with the ability to present, position, and market solutions effectively. This

role involves underwriting commercial line policies, understanding client risks, and leveraging digital/technical tools

to enhance solution delivery and client engagement.

Location - Andheri E ( Work from Office model)

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and underwrite SME insurance products including Fire, Burglary, Marine, Engineering, Liability, and

Miscellaneous policies.

Work closely with the sales team to provide technical support in pitching and presenting insurance solutions to

prospective and existing clients.

Design customized insurance programs based on client risk profiles.

Use digital and technical tools to prepare impactful proposals, comparisons, and presentations.

Liaise with insurers for competitive quotes, terms, and underwriting approvals.

Ensure all underwriting activities comply with IRDAI guidelines and company processes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and industry stakeholders.

Support business expansion through knowledge-driven marketing and technical presentations.

Key Requirements:

Minimum 36 years of experience in Commercial Lines / SME insurance underwriting.

Strong knowledge of EB & Non-EB products.

Proficiency in insurance portals, quoting tools, and presentation software.

Excellent communication and client engagement skills.

Ability to translate technical insurance concepts into clear, client-friendly proposals.

Strong network within the insurance industry.

Preferred Industry Background

• Insurance Company | Insurance Broker | TPA (Commercial Lines / Sales profile)
