Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Automation Testing with over 7 years of proven expertise in driving end-to-end automation initiatives. The ideal candidate should demonstrate deep technical knowledge in Java, Selenium, TestNG, Appium, and API testing using Rest Assured. This role demands not only hands-on technical proficiency but also strong leadership skills to guide a team of testers and define automation strategies across projects.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and enhance scalable and reusable automation frameworks using Java, Selenium, TestNG, and Appium.
Define and enforce automation best practices, coding standards, and test strategies across the QA team.
Lead functional, regression, integration, and API automation testing using Rest Assured.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand business requirements and align testing goals.
Review and validate test scripts developed by team members for coverage, performance, and maintainability.
Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and delivery.
Troubleshoot complex automation issues and provide effective, long-term resolutions.
Mentor and manage QA team members, ensuring quality, productivity, and alignment with project goals.

Required Skills

Extensive hands-on experience in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Appium, and Rest Assured.
Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks.
Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), defect lifecycle, and experience with test management tools.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Docker, etc.
