SM/DGM Design

As the incumbent for this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the design activities in the region. You will be involved in project conceptualization, including having sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws & DCR Regulations. You will analyze and calculate the area identified for future projects and draft the end product design for presentation to the customer. Additionally, you will translate design ideas into design briefs to be handed over to design consultants and architects. Your key responsibilities will also include appointing consultants based on the analysis of proposals. You will brief the consultants on project requirements, expectations, and timelines. Furthermore, you will effectively collaborate with various teams such as liaison, projects, and sales to ensure consistency in product specifications and acquire approvals for design and resources needed for project construction. You will track project progress, take corrective action regarding design if necessary, and address any queries during the construction process. In terms of process adherence and improvement, you will comply with company-defined guidelines and processes, adhere to project timelines, and identify areas for process improvement. You will recommend ideas to streamline efficiency, costs, and productivity, as well as undertake process improvement activities in your work area.
