SM/DGM Design

As the Design Manager, your role involves the end-to-end management of design activities in the region. You will be responsible for project conceptualization, including having a sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws & DCR Regulations. Your tasks will also include analyzing and calculating the project area, translating design ideas into briefs, and appointing consultants based on proposal analysis. Furthermore, you will collaborate effectively with various teams, ensuring consistency in product specifications and acquiring necessary approvals for project construction. Tracking project progress, attending to construction queries, and adhering to company-defined guidelines and processes are also key aspects of your responsibilities. In addition, you will identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity in your work area. Key Responsibilities: - Project Conceptualization - Sound knowledge of Redevelopment By-laws & DCR Regulations - Analyze and calculate project area for future projects - Translate design ideas into briefs for consultants and architects - Appointment of Consultants - Appoint consultants based on proposal analysis - Brief consultants on project requirements, expectations, and timelines - Project Coordination - Collaborate with various teams effectively - Ensure consistency in product specifications and approvals - Track project progress and address design corrections - Attend to construction queries and ensure smooth process - Process Adherence & Improvement - Comply with company guidelines and processes - Adhere to project timelines - Identify and recommend process improvements for efficiency - Learning and Development - Identify self and team development needs - Pursue development through training, education, and projects Qualification Required: - B.Arch/M.Arch (Full-time) This role requires a candidate with a B.Arch or M.Arch (Full-time) qualification.
