Role Overview: As a Quant-researcher/trader working within the SM&D team, your main responsibility is to design and develop mathematical algorithms to support market analytics, execution strategies, pricing, hedging, pre/post trade analytics, and electronic liquidity offering to clients. Your role involves the full chain of activities from requirements gathering to implementation, productionization, optimization, monitoring, and support. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop mathematical algorithms for market analytics, execution strategies, pricing, hedging, and pre/post trade analytics. - Create business logic and models for electronic liquidity offering to clients. - Proactively identify and resolve problems and issues. - Provide timely and high-quality support. - Participate in team peer reviews of code. Qualifications Required: - In-depth technical knowledge and experience in the assigned area of expertise. - Ability to partner with other functions and business areas. - Take responsibility for end results of operational processing and activities. - Escalate policy/procedure breaches appropriately. - Advise and influence decision-making within your area of expertise. - Manage risk and strengthen controls related to your work. - Understand how your sub-function integrates with the function. - Resolve problems by applying technical experience. - Guide and persuade team members. - Act as a contact point for stakeholders outside the immediate function.
