Job Description: As a Senior SmartCOMM Developer, you will lead the development and optimization of customer communication solutions for a top-tier banking client. Your expertise in SmartCOMM is crucial for scalable document composition, integration with enterprise systems, and ensuring financial compliance and data protection standards. Your focus will be on modernizing customer correspondence across digital and print channels with an emphasis on security, clarity, and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop dynamic communication templates using SmartCOMM - Collaborate with various teams to gather communication and compliance requirements - Develop SmartCOMM assets and integrate them with banking platforms - Ensure legal and regulatory compliance standards are met - Provide technical mentorship to junior developers - Support production issues and maintain technical documentation Qualification Required: - Minimum 5 years of experience in SmartCOMM/Thunderhead, preferably in banking or financial services - Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, XPath, and conditional logic - Experience in integrating SmartCOMM with enterprise systems and APIs - Knowledge of customer communications management best practices, Agile delivery frameworks, and Australian financial regulations - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field - SmartCOMM certification or Thunderhead training - Exposure to cloud-based deployments - Prior experience in digital transformation teams in financial institutions,
