Sitecore Architect

• Take architecture of Sitecore application through the entire lifecycle of EA.

• Design, architect, develop, test, and debug implementations of complex software solutions in Sitecore.

• Ensuring compliance with Viatris standard.

• Production support/debugging issues for complex architectural issues.

• Help team in planning and estimating simple to complex development projects.

• Take ownership of a business feature from its technical design, through development, and overall implementation into the platform.

• Help team in code review, code refactoring.

• Properly document technical specifications throughout the SDLC process.

• Assist with customer support issues and/or other assigned tasks as required

• Ability and experience to work in a global enterprise with globally distributed teams and stakeholders.

• Manage stakeholder including senior executive and CxO.

• Worked as Single point of contact for any issue related to Sitecore

• Work with Viatris developer and development partners to implement and maintain applications.

• Work on RFP Creation and Evaluation.

Qualification and Experience

• 15 or more years of industry experience developing web-based applications using ASP.NET/C# with MVC methodologies. 5+ years as a Sitecore Architect.

• Expert in architecting Sitecore applications in Container.

• Led at least two large-scale Sitecore implementations taking advantage of advanced facets of the platform such as SolrCloud, xDB, SXA, JSS, Docker container.

• Understands the use of Sitecore CMS and use of Experience Editor, page/data template, content types, workflow, content authoring/approval process and content governance best practices.

• Experiencing implementing and maintaining a true multi-tenant Sitecore instance.

• Experience working with Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA) and Sitecore PowerShell Extensions (SPE).

• Experience working with Sitecore development tools such as Unicorn, TDS, GlassMapper, SIM (Sitecore Instance Manager), Sitecore Rocks, and others.

• Experience of working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery and DevOps.

• Intermediate-level experience in SQL Server.

• Expert in working in Cloud environment (AWS / Azure) with automated deployment.

• Expert in web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance and optimization techniques.

• Experience in responsive development especially in HTML5 and other digital functionality associated with web and mobile development.

• Experience developing applications for mobile platforms is highly desirable.

• Experience in website integration with social media is an added advantage.

• Experience in migration of lower version of Sitecore / Drupal/WordPress to Sitecore 10.x.

• Experience in architecture and development of enterprise level CMS application with seamless cross platform customer experience.

• Bachelor s degree or equivalent in Computer Science.

• Sitecore 10.x certified resource with experience in Sitecore Experience Accelerator (SXA), Sitecore Container, Sitecore PowerShell Extensions (SPE) , Unicorn, TDS, GlassMapper, SIM (Sitecore Instance Manager), Sitecore Rocks, Sitecore Analytics, Sitecore Search engine.

• Experience in Architecting Sitecore applications using Helix principle.

• experience developing web-based applications using ASP.NET/C# with MVC methodologies.

• Expert in automated deployment using Octopus or any other tool.

• Expert in Git and TFS for version control.

• Expert in continuous integration using Azure Devops/Jenkin or any other tool.

• Expert in website technical design, architecture and web client-side interaction including HTTPS, cookies, session management, redirects and cross domain technologies.

• Experience in Domain management using AWS.

• Fluent in JavaScript Libraries/jQuery, SOAP, REST, RESTful integrations, AJAX, JSON, XML, C#, ASP.NET, , HTML5, , CSS, IIS Window, XML, Web Services/WCF, and related technologies

• Fluent in SQL Server and Windows Server

• Good understanding and alignment with Microsoft technologies: .NET, MVC Framework.

• Experience building websites for multiple form factors desktop, tablets and smartphones.

• Experience developing applications for mobile platforms is highly desirable.

• Command of web standards, cross-browser compatibility, and web performance and optimization techniques.

• Experience in other CMS like Drupal, Typo3, WordPress.

• Experience RDBMS, No SQL, Data Science, Big Data technologies and tools.
