Site Supervisor

Position : Site Supervisor RCC to Finishing (Lock & Key Projects)

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

1. RCC / Structural Work Supervision

• Manage all RCC works: footing, columns, beams, slabs, shear walls, and staircases.
  
• Ensure correct reinforcement placement, concrete mix, shuttering, and curing procedures.
  
• Coordinate with structural engineers for inspections, QA/QC checks, and technical approvals.
  
• Monitor formwork systems, scaffolding, and safety compliance.
  

2. Masonry & Block Work

• Supervise brick/block masonry, plastering, waterproofing, and leveling works.
  
• Check alignment, plumb, curing, and quality of masonry workmanship.
  

3. MEP Coordination (Essential)

• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, fire-fighting, and HVAC teams.
  
• Ensure layout marking, conduit routing, sleeve placements, and service openings are correct before casting or finishing works.
  
• Verify pressure tests, insulation, and commissioning procedures.
  

4. Finishing Works (End-to-End)

• Oversee all finishing activities including:
  
• Flooring: tiles, granite, marble, wooden flooring
  
• Wall finishes: plastering, putty, primer, painting
  
• Doors & windows installation (aluminum, UPVC, wooden)
  
• False ceilings (gypsum / POP)
  
• Cabinetry, wardrobes, modular kitchens
  
• Sanitary fixtures & CP fittings
  
• Glass, railing, faade finishing
  
• Ensure aesthetic quality and final detailing meets luxury and developer standards.
  

5. Lock-and-Key Handover Responsibilities

• Ensure complete project readiness for occupancy.
  
• Manage snag list (punch list) and close all defects before handover.
  
• Coordinate final cleaning, utility connections, and testing of all services.
  
• Handover keys and documentation to client/developer with full compliance.
  

6. Daily Site Management

• Prepare daily progress reports with photos.
  
• Monitor material stock, usage, and wastage control.
  
• Manage subcontractor teams and labor allocation.
  
• Ensure tools, equipment, and site resources are available and maintained.
  

7. Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Implement strict site safety protocols (PPE, barricading, scaffolding checks).
  
• Maintain quality standards according to drawings, specifications, and codes.
  
• Conduct regular quality inspections during each milestone stage.
  
• Ensure all work follows approved GFC drawings and method statements.
  

8. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with project manager, engineers, architects, and vendors.
  
• Conduct site meetings to review progress and resolve issues.
  
• Coordinate timely delivery of materials and track consumption.
  

Skills & Qualifications Required

• Strong experience handling projects

  end-to-end (RCC Finishing Handover)

  .
• Ability to read structural, architectural, and MEP drawings.
  
• Good knowledge of materials, finishing details, and civil construction methods.
  
• Strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  
• Familiarity with construction tools/software is an advantage (Procore, MS Project, etc.).
  

Experience Level

• 5–15 years

  supervising residential/commercial building sites.
• Must have successfully completed

  at least one full lock-and-key project

  from foundation to handover.
