Site Supervisor

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision

• Supervise daily construction activities at the site.
• Ensure that work is carried out as per drawings, specifications, and instructions from the Site Engineer.
• Monitor masonry, concreting, shuttering, reinforcement, plastering, and finishing activities.

2. Workforce Management

• Assign tasks to labour teams and monitor their performance.
• Ensure availability of manpower and coordinate with labour contractors.
• Resolve site-level issues to maintain smooth workflow.

3. Quality & Safety Compliance

• Ensure work quality and follow construction standards.
• Check materials and workmanship before execution.
• Enforce safety rules and use of PPE for all workers.
• Report any unsafe practices or incidents to the Site Engineer/Safety Officer.

4. Material Handling

• Monitor material consumption and prevent wastage.
• Coordinate with storekeeper for material requirements.
• Maintain records of material received and used at site.

5. Measurement & Reporting

• Take measurements of work completed for billing and daily reporting.
• Prepare Daily Progress Report (DPR) and share updates with the Project Manager.
• Assist in preparing checklists and QA/QC documents.

6. Coordination

• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and labour teams.
• Report site challenges, delays, or discrepancies to the management.
• Attend site meetings and follow instructions given by seniors.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Diploma / ITI / +2 with significant site experience.
• 2–7 years of experience as Civil Supervisor in building or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction activities, materials, and site procedures.
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle labour.

Additional Requirements

• Should be willing to relocate to Puri / Cuttack / Bhubaneswar based on project requirements.
• Must be physically fit to work on site.
• Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
