Site Safety officer

As a Site Safety Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring safety compliance at our Architectural and Interior design project sites. Your main duties will include implementing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with fire safety laws, conducting inspections, and implementing preventive measures to minimize fire hazards. Your goal will be to create a safe working environment for all workers and stakeholders involved in the projects. You should have a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a similar role. Ideally, you should be residing near Airoli, and candidates up to 40 years of age are preferred. Your key responsibilities will include conducting risk assessments on project sites, ensuring compliance with local fire safety codes and regulations, developing and implementing fire emergency response plans, providing safety training to workers, and investigating and reporting accidents, incidents, and near-misses. You will also be responsible for maintaining proper documentation of safety procedures and reports, ensuring the proper use of PPE and safety equipment, and inspecting fire protection systems such as alarms, extinguishers, and sprinklers. Collaboration with local fire departments and regulatory authorities, as well as coordination with project managers and contractors to mitigate risks, will be a crucial part of your role. You will also need to maintain proper documentation of fire safety audits and inspections. This is a full-time, permanent position with a day shift schedule.
