Site Reliability Engineer

The courteous and prompt provision of operational support relating to assigned application systems. This includes mitigating customer impact of issues, initiating action to determine root causes, and implementing problem resolution.

In this opportunity as a Site Reliability Engineer, you will:

Provide analysis and design reviews to other members and groups within the department to avoid duplication of efforts in solving the same application problem within different products.

Evaluate new technologies and software products to determine feasibility and desirability of incorporating capabilities within the companys products.
• Be proactive: Proactively investigate, design, configure / integrate and test process control solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• Be Agile - with strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment to deliver solutions against strict timelines.
• Be an Effective Communicator - articulate complex technical issues, and share ideas, participate in peer-reviews/design review boards, and exhibit strong listening skills

About you:

you're a fit for the role of Site Reliability Engineer if you:

• 3-6 years of experience as a SRE or similar role
• Hands-on experience in Azure Cloud.
• 3+ year of hands-on experience on DevOps technologies like Git, GitHub, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, ADO Pipeline, containerization, and orchestration.
• Scripting knowledge like Shell script, PowerShell, bash, yaml and groovy
• Tools like GitHub actions, Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, etc
• Working experience on Clusters and High Availability solution
• Hands-on experience in Linux/Windows infrastructure knowledge of networking
• Proactively resolve technical hurdles and continue innovative efforts within SAFe development practices
• Collaborate and communicate with other team members to decompose large tasks into small testable tasks.
• Experience with integrating into a team employing Agile and Scrum methodologies
