As a Graduate Supplier Engineer in Purchasing, you will play a crucial role in evaluating suppliers, working with cross-functional teams, and ensuring purchased components meet quality and technical standards. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing a supplier risk mitigation plan. - Managing suppliers to achieve PPAP on-time in collaboration with program buyers and the program Supplier Program Manager. - Monitoring APQP deliverables such as Feasibility commitment, APQP planning, Measurement plans, Control plans, product & process FMEA, validation plans, acceptance reports, appearance approval reports, checking fixtures concepts, checking fixtures R&R studies. - Analyzing first off-tool parts and initiating Part history tracking at the supplier. - Enforcing a CONVERGENCE process on critical or significant characteristics. - Monitoring mount-ability validation and packaging validation with support from Plant Supplier Quality Engineer. - Agreeing with the Plant SQE for approval on the Production Control Plan used by the supplier. - Leading Run@Rate at the Supplier facility with support from SPM and SQE, confirming capacity, capability, and conducting process audits as part of the risk mitigation plan. - Submitting PPAP status to SPM and Plant SQE, and reporting progress for each program and supplier. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in B Tech / Polymer Engineering / Plastics Engineering. - Strong interest in manufacturing or procurement roles. - Good communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). - Eagerness to learn, take initiative, and work in a team-oriented environment.
