Site Engineer

Job Description

A Site Engineer is critical for a construction project to ensure technical accuracy, quality control, and adherence to safety standards. They oversee the implementation of designs, coordinate between on-site teams and consultants, and resolve engineering challenges in real-time. Their presence ensures the project progresses efficiently while maintaining compliance with regulations, ensuring the building meets the functional and safety needs of an educational institution. Role & responsibilities Site Supervision : Oversee daily construction activities to ensure they are executed as per project specifications and timelines. Quality Control : Ensure materials and workmanship meet safety, structural, and quality standards required for educational buildings. Coordination with Stakeholders : Act as a liaison between architects, engineers, contractors, and other parties to ensure smooth communication and project flow. Technical Problem-Solving : Address on-site technical issues and deviations from the design, providing timely resolutions. Health & Safety Compliance : Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free construction site. Progress Reporting : Prepare and submit regular reports on project status, potential delays, and risks to senior management. Preferred candidate profile: Minimum of 3-5 years of on-site experience in construction, preferably in educational or institutional building projects. Knowledge of Construction Codes and Standards : Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards specific to educational facilities. Proficiency in Construction Software : Experience with tools like AutoCAD, MS Project, or other project management and design software.
