Site Engineer

Shandar Interior Private Limited is seeking a dynamic and skilled Site Engineer to join our growing team in Pune and Mumbai. The Site Engineer will be responsible for providing technical expertise, overseeing on-site operations, and ensuring the successful execution of interior design and construction projects. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of construction principles and a commitment to quality and safety.Responsibilities•Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of interior design and construction projects.•Provide technical support and guidance to on-site teams and subcontractors.•Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.•Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance.•Prepare and maintain accurate project documentation, including daily progress reports, material consumption, and quality control records.•Coordinate with project managers, architects, designers, and clients to resolve technical queries and ensure smooth workflow.•Oversee the proper handling, storage, and utilization of materials and equipment on site.•Assist in the estimation of quantities and cost control for various project components.•Implement and monitor health and safety procedures on site.•Troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical problems efficiently.•Ensure timely completion of project milestones.Qualifications and Experience•Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Interior Design.•1 to 5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in interior fit-out or construction projects.•Strong understanding of construction techniques, materials, and quality control.•Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings.•Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.•Knowledge of relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Office).•Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.
