Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Site Engineer to oversee and manage fabrication and installation activities at our project sites. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal work, welding processes, and steel/iron structures, ensuring quality, safety, and project timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily site operations related to sheet metal, steel, and iron fabrication and installation.
• Coordinate welding activities and ensure compliance with technical drawings and welding standards.
• Inspect materials and workmanship to ensure quality and safety standards are followed.
• Work closely with fabricators, welders, and subcontractors to ensure project schedules are maintained.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Monitor progress and prepare site reports.
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with the project manager, suppliers, and site teams.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in sheet metal, welding, or structural steel projects.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, welding standards, and metalwork.
• Ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with safety standards and site documentation.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Jamnagar, Gujarat: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• sheet matal fabrication: 3 years (Preferred)
