Description
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Site Engineer to oversee the construction of an industrial warehouse in Greater Noida. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering, with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial building projects. This role requires a proactive individual capable of managing site operations, ensuring quality and safety standards, and coordinating with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives. Key Responsibilities Site Supervision & Coordination : Oversee daily construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and quality standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials. Technical Support & Problem Solving : Provide technical guidance to the construction team, addressing any on-site challenges promptly. Interpret and clarify engineering drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Quality Assurance & Compliance : Conduct regular inspections to verify the quality of work and materials. Ensure all construction activities comply with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.Maintain detailed records of daily site activities, including work progress, material usage, and labor attendance. Prepare and submit regular reports to senior management, highlighting any issues or delays.Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Conduct safety briefings and ensure all personnel are equipped with necessary protective gear.Monitor the usage of materials and equipment, ensuring optimal utilization and minimizing wastage. Assist in the procurement process by preparing material requisitions and coordinating with suppliers.Act as the primary point of contact between the site and project management. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including clients, architects, and consultants, to ensure project alignment and address concerns. Qualifications & Experience Documentation & Reporting : Safety Management : Resource Management : Stakeholder Communication : Education : Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from a recognized institution. Experience : Minimum of 5 years of experience in civil construction, with a focus on industrial building projects. Experience in warehouse construction is highly desirable. Skills : Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications. Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards. Familiarity with project management software and tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
