Role & responsibilities

Oversee daily construction activities at site, including structural work, RCC, brickwork, waterproofing, finishing, and MEP installations.

• Make sure all work is carried out strictly as per approved drawings, technical specs, and applicable construction standards.

• Keep track of labour attendance and productivity, and plan site work schedules to meet project timelines.

• Coordinate smoothly with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers to ensure materials and resources are available when needed.

• Maintain accurate site records such as Daily Progress Reports (DPR), labour deployment sheets, site photos, and material logs.

• Carry out regular quality checks to ensure civil and finishing works meet expected standards.

• Understand and interpret construction drawings, and help resolve technical issues in coordination with senior engineers and consultants.

• Promote and enforce safety measures on siteensure proper use of PPEs and that all workers follow safety protocols.

• Help in preparing bills, doing material reconciliation, and measuring quantities as per work done.

• Assist in creating work schedules or bar charts using MS Excel and track progress against deadlines.

• Take part in client or consultant site meetings and give updates on progress, issues, and next steps.

• Support in documentation work for inspections, approvals, and final handovers.

• Ensure the site is clean, well-managed, and materials are stored properly to avoid damage or wastage.

• Be ready to take on any additional responsibilities that help move the project forward smoothly.
