Role Overview:

The Site Civil QC/QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all civil and structural works are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, standards, and project quality requirements. This role ensures proper quality control of construction activities, materials, and workmanship on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor project-specific QA/QC plan, ITP (Inspection & Test Plan), and checklists.
• Ensure compliance with IS codes, ASTM, ACI, and project specifications.
• Review contractor/vendor qualifications, material approvals, and test reports.
• Inspect civil and structural works (excavation, concreting, reinforcement, shuttering, masonry, finishing, Ant termite, compaction ,Concrete grade with mix designing etc.).
• Verify materials (cement, aggregates, steel, concrete mix design, blocks, etc.) against approvals & Identify the RMC vendor with Mix Design proportion
• Monitor on-site testing (concrete cube tests, soil compaction, NDT, weld tests, etc.).
• Ensure proper workmanship in foundations, RCC works, waterproofing, plastering, flooring, and external finishes.
• Prepare and maintain inspection reports, test records, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports).
• Ensure timely closure of NCRs and corrective actions.
• Submit daily/weekly QA/QC reports to management.
• Liaise with contractors, consultants, and client representatives to resolve quality issues.
• Coordinate third-party testing agencies and audits.
• Ensure site works comply with safety and environmental standards.
• Support audits and client inspections.

Qualifications & Skills:

• B.E./Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 3 -7 years experience in civil QA/QC (building/industrial/infrastructure projects).
• Knowledge of IS/ACI/ASTM codes and QA/QC procedures.
• Hands-on experience in concrete, structural steel, finishing, and material testing.
• Familiar with quality documentation, ITPs, NCRs, and audits.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
