Silicon Validation Engineer

Key Responsibilities: - Validate building blocks in FPGA on a board level to ensure functionality and performance according to design intent - Learn and train on validating various IPs within the FPGA such as SERDES, Memory DDR, DPHY, PLL, DSP, Fabric, I/O, etc. - Develop validation and characterization plans for specific IPs, bench hardware, and software - Drive new silicon product bring-up, validation, and debugging processes - Collaborate with design, verification, manufacturing, test, quality, and marketing teams throughout the product lifecycle - Support customer issues as needed post-product release Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of experience in Silicon Design Validation - Electrical Engineering degree with a strong desire to pursue a career in this field - Knowledge in High-Speed Serdes Interface characterization and protocol compliance testing - Familiarity with high-speed board design and signal integrity evaluation - Proficiency in Verilog/VHDL and FPGA development tools - Experience in test automation development using programming languages like Python, Perl - Understanding of statistical analysis concepts and tools - Exposure to bench equipment for device characterization and FPGA technologies - Strong communication, problem-solving, and debugging skills Additional Company Details: At Lattice, collaboration and problem-solving are key aspects of our culture.
