We currently have an exciting opening within the Electrical Validation team at Cadence Design Systems in Bangalore for the position of "Lead Design Engineer." In this role, you will be responsible for conducting pre and post-silicon Physical Layer Electrical Validation on Cadence's High-Speed SERDES IP. Key activities include designing the necessary hardware and software infrastructure for validation, implementing test suites to ensure compliance with Physical Layer Electrical specifications, debugging silicon issues, and preparing detailed test reports for customers. We are seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: - Hold a BE/BTECH/ME/MTECH or equivalent degree - Possess 3-4 years of experience (with Btech) or 1-2 years of experience (with Mtech) in Post-Silicon Physical Layer Electrical Validation - Demonstrate experience in Physical Layer electrical validation for at least one High-Speed SERDES protocol such as PCIe, USB, DP, Ethernet, SRIO, JESD204, DDRIO - Have hands-on experience with lab equipment like Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and Bit Error Rate Testers (BERT) Preferred Qualifications: - Show passion for analog and digital electronic circuit design as well as signal processing aspects - 1-2 years of experience in FPGA Design, PCB schematic and layout design & Prototyping is a plus - Experience in Pre-Silicon IP/SoC Physical Layer Electrical Validation for board bring-up & Debug - Familiarity with RTL coding for FPGA, Labview, Python, C/C++, TCL Join us at Cadence, where we are committed to making a difference and solving challenges that others cannot.,
