Silicon Logical Design Engineer

You will be working as a silicon logical design engineer within the logical design team at Graphcore, a globally recognized leader in Artificial Intelligence computing systems. Your role will involve a wide range of tasks related to logical design, including delivering high-quality microarchitecture and RTL for Graphcore chips. You will collaborate with other engineers within the Silicon team to implement the chip architecture specification and ensure the company objectives for Silicon delivery are met. **Key Responsibilities:** - Producing high-quality microarchitecture and RTL for Graphcore chips - Ensuring good communication between sites - Contributing to shared design infrastructure and flows - Using EDA tools and the Graphcore design flow to design in cutting-edge technologies - Leading and/or contributing to final chip-level checks and auditing - Providing feedback to Physical Design, Verification, and DFT teams **Qualifications Required:** - Logical design experience in the relevant industry - Highly motivated, a self-starter, and a team player - Ability to work across teams and debug issues to find root causes - Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject - Programming skills required to solve design issues (e.g., Python, Tcl) - SystemVerilog knowledge - Knowledge of digital design flows **Desirable Skills:** - Processor design - Application-specific blocks - High-speed serial interfaces - Complex third-party IP integration - Arithmetic pipeline design - Floating-point design - Design for test - Synthesis - Timing Analysis - Project Planning - Power Integrity - Silicon transistor Graphcore offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
