Short Form Video Producer At Indiahikes, our content team has a clear vision — to be the last stop for trek information in India. We want trekkers to find reliable, practical, and trustworthy information with us — especially through short-form video, which is often the first touchpoint for today’s trekkers. We’re looking for a Short Form Video Producer who can turn in-depth trekking knowledge into engaging, useful videos — not for entertainment, but for education. These videos will help trekkers prepare better, make smarter choices, and understand the nuances of high-altitude trekking. This is not a storytelling or travel-vlogging role. It’s a role rooted in clarity, accuracy, and usefulness. You’ll help trekkers learn — not just watch. What you’ll do: Create high-quality short-form videos (15–90 seconds) that educate trekkers — from tips, gear guides, and fitness prep to high-altitude safety Work closely with the Indiahikes content team, Trek Leaders, and mountain teams to identify valuable topics Collaborate with others to source footage — including guiding trek leaders on what to shoot on the slopes Edit videos using mobile or desktop tools like CapCut, InShot, or Adobe Premiere Pro Track the performance of videos across platforms like Instagram Reels and YouTube Shorts, and iterate for impact Occasionally travel to trek slopes to shoot — but not as the core part of the job You’ll thrive in this role if you: Have 1–2 years of experience creating short-form video content — especially in the educational or explainer space Have a good sense of content structure, clear visual communication, and audio quality Are more focused on the quality of information than aesthetics or storytelling Are comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative content environment Are excited to learn deeply about trekking and work with domain experts to communicate that knowledge Are based in Bangalore and open to working from our office Bonus if you: Have experience simplifying technical concepts into accessible video formats Have shot in outdoor conditions or worked with remote teams to guide footage collection Have been trekking yourself or have a personal interest in the outdoors At Indiahikes, you’ll be shaping how trekkers across India learn and grow — one video at a time.
