Job Description

Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript . Convert Figma/Sketch/PSD designs into responsive Shopify storefronts. Customize existing Shopify themes and apps based on business and design requirements. Ensure cross-browser compatibility , responsive design, and performance optimization. Implement interactive UI components and animations using JavaScript or front-end libraries. Collaborate with the UI/UX team to improve customer experience and interface design. Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic data rendering. Debug frontend issues and perform code reviews to ensure coding standards are met. Keep up with the latest Shopify updates, best practices, and industry trends. Required Skills & Qualifications: 2+ years of hands-on experience working with Shopify frontend development . Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify templating language) , HTML5 , CSS3 , and JavaScript/jQuery . Experience in developing and customizing Shopify themes (both free and premium). Familiarity with Shopify sections, metafields, and schema settings . Knowledge of responsive frameworks like Bootstrap or Tailwind CSS is a plus. Understanding of performance optimization and basic SEO for e-commerce. Basic Git/version control knowledge. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: ₹250,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year Schedule: Evening shift Monday to Friday Ability to commute/relocate: New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred) Experience: Shopify: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
