Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and energetic Shop Floor Supervisor to oversee day-to-day production activities on the shop floor. The supervisor will be responsible for handling incoming raw material (RM) data, outgoing compound data, supervising operators, coordinating production, and ensuring timely delivery for all customers.
Freshers with good learning ability and interest in manufacturing are welcome to apply.
Candidates from Bidadi or nearby areas will be preferred.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduction & Shop Floor Management

• Oversee daily mixing and compounding operations on the shop floor.
• Allocate jobs and monitor production progress as per customer requirements.
• Ensure accurate recording of incoming RM and proper RM handling.
• Maintain correct outgoing compound data, including batch details and dispatch info.
• Monitor machine performance, coordinate with maintenance, and minimize downtime.

Data & Documentation

• Record production activities, RM consumption, WIP, and finished goods in logs or ERP.
• Verify batch sheets and ensure correct following of formulations.
• Work with QC to log test results and handle non-conformance issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly production reports.

Team Supervision

• Supervise operators, helpers, and material handlers.
• Ensure proper shift handover and manpower planning.
• Maintain discipline, cleanliness, and workflow efficiency.

Quality & Safety

• Ensure all compounding is done as per quality standards and customer specifications.
• Monitor safety practices and enforce PPE usage.
• Conduct routine checks on machines and working areas.

Coordination

• Coordinate closely with Production Manager, QC/QA, Stores, and Dispatch.
• Work with the Stores team to ensure RM availability and correct stock movement.
• Communicate customer job status when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma / ITI / B.Sc / B.E / Any technical or science-related qualification (preferred).
• Freshers can apply; training will be provided.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes is an advantage.
• Ability to understand instructions, follow procedures, and maintain records.
• Good communication, leadership potential, and willingness to learn.
• Candidate must be from Bidadi or willing to relocate.
