Shipping and Receiving Clerk

As a Shipping and Receiving Clerk, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods in and out of the facility to ensure efficient and accurate handling of shipments. Your responsibilities will include: - Receiving and Unpacking: - Unloading deliveries, verifying against packing lists and purchase orders, and ensuring accurate delivery. - Inventory Management: - Updating inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and identifying potential shortages or damage. - Shipping Preparation: - Preparing items for shipment, including packaging, labeling, and ensuring proper documentation. - Communication: - Coordinating with vendors, drivers, and internal departments to facilitate shipments. - Documentation: - Maintaining accurate records of inbound and outbound shipments. - Safety and Compliance: - Adhering to safety procedures, shipping regulations, and company policies to ensure compliance. - Problem Solving: - Addressing any issues that may arise with shipments, such as damages or discrepancies.
