Job Description

As a Dock Master, your role involves planning and executing docking, undocking, and shifting of vessels safely and efficiently. You will be responsible for preparing docking plans in coordination with naval architects and engineering teams, ensuring proper alignment and placement of keel blocks and side blocks, and inspecting dock equipment and structures for readiness, safety, and maintenance. Your duties will also include coordinating with shipyard departments, tug operators, and external marine agents, as well as supervising the flooding and dewatering of dry docks and operation of related systems. Key Responsibilities: - Coordinate all docking activities to comply with safety regulations and procedures - Conduct risk assessments and toolbox talks before operations - Maintain accurate records and reports related to all dock operations - Train and guide dock crew and ensure proper manning during operations - Support emergency response activities involving docked vessels or operations Qualifications Required: - Diploma in a relevant field In this role, you will work full-time on a permanent basis with a day shift schedule.
