Ensure 100% compliance in issuing work permits for all engineering and non-routine tasks, with proper job safety risk assessments attached.
Maintain special focus on high-risk jobs including Line Breaks, Hot Work, and Confined Space entries.
Enforce Zero Tolerance for unsafe behavior.
Lead and demonstrate strict adherence to safety standards and compliance on the shop floor.
Ensure all operations are in accordance with established Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire (HSEF) protocols.
Conduct regular Gemba rounds to monitor and control unsafe acts and conditions.
Take the lead in safety audits, visits, and documentation efforts.

Production

Lead start-up activities of the section with a focus on zero safety incidents, zero quality deviations, and zero unplanned equipment downtime.
Drive a system- and process-oriented culture in operations.
Deliver output aligned with the production plan.
Strive to achieve best-in-class inventory accuracy (Physical Stock vs System Stock).
Ensure 100% posting of batches and material consumption via MES and ERP systems.
Implement and sustain 5S practices on the shop floor.
Generate and release periodic production reports in accordance with internal governance systems.
Actively participate in plant performance review meetings.
Lead initiatives to achieve benchmark OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness).
Champion audits, inspections, and documentation protocols.
Execute smooth shift handovers in line with Handover-Takeover (HOTO) guidelines.
Proactively plan and ensure 100% availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and consumables for upcoming shifts.

Quality

Ensure all operations are executed as per documented and approved procedures.
Maintain input and output within defined quality specifications.
Eliminate sources of contamination through shop floor discipline and effective engineering or administrative controls.
Ensure processes operate within Standard Operating Conditions (SOC), maintaining parameters within Aim Control Limits.
Utilize data analysis to provide engineering solutions that enhance quality assurance, support customer complaint resolution, manage processes, and troubleshoot issues.

Cost

Focus on eliminating losses and improving yield across all equipment by leveraging their design capabilities.

Team / Manpower

Foster a culture of learning by developing team members in the fundamentals of engineering and operational knowledge of section-specific equipment.
Provide hands-on coaching and mentoring to manpower on the nuances of daily operations.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Experience handling H2O2, Sulphuric Acid, and Alkaline substances.
