Job Summary:

The Shift Incharge will be responsible for supervising and managing the complete operations of the distillery during the assigned shift. The role ensures smooth production, adherence to process parameters, manpower management, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and control all distillery operations during the shift.
• Ensure smooth functioning of fermentation, distillation, evaporation, and boiler units.
• Monitor process parameters and take corrective actions to maintain production efficiency and quality.
• Coordinate with the maintenance and laboratory teams for timely support and quality control.
• Maintain accurate shift records, production logs, and incident reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and operational guidelines.
• Train, motivate, and guide operators and support staff working in the shift.
• Report daily production performance and operational issues to the Production Manager.

Qualification & Experience:

• Qualification: B.Sc / M.Sc in Chemistry / Biotechnology, or Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in ethanol distillery or a similar process industry.

Skills Required:

• Strong understanding of distillery process operations and DCS systems.
• Good leadership and team-handling skills.
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Awareness of plant safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Salary: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month (Negotiable based on experience & qualification)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
