Job Description

Role Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Boiler & Turbine Operations Engineer to manage and optimize the performance of steam generation systems and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in boiler operations, preventive maintenance, and safety compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage Boiler, Steam Turbine, and Balance of Plant systems.
Execute startup, shutdown, and emergency procedures, including blackouts and grid tripping.
Troubleshoot operational issues and ensure optimal performance of equipment.
Conduct preventive maintenance and manage boiler water chemistry.
Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols (PTW, LOTO, HIRA, JSA, HAZOP).
Prepare SOPs, incident reports, and regulatory compliance documentation.
Lead risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
Monitor system performance and prepare DPR/MPR reports.
Train and mentor team members; manage inventory and defect registers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen and 5S methodology.

Required Competencies:

Technical:
Boiler Operation Engineering, Process Optimization, Safety & Compliance, Root Cause Analysis, Technical Documentation
Behavioral:
Problem Solving, Leadership, Communication, Decision Making, Adaptability

Qualifications:

Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Certification in Boiler Operation preferred.
5+ years of experience in power plant operations or a similar industrial setup.
