Ensure Zero Lost Time Cases (LTC).
Accept and execute work permits with 100% compliance for all engineering or non-routine tasks, with proper Job Safety Risk Assessment (JSRA) attached to each permit.
Place special emphasis on high-risk activities including:

Line Breaks
Hot Work
Confined Space Entry

Maintain zero tolerance for unsafe behavior across all levels.
Demonstrate and lead strict adherence to safety standards and compliance on the shop floor.
Ensure operations align with established Health, Safety, Environment, and Fire (HSEF) protocols.
Conduct regular Gemba rounds to identify and address unsafe acts and conditions.
Take ownership of safety audits, site visits, and documentation activities.

Production

Lead the start-up of production sections with focus on:

Zero safety incidents
Zero quality deviations
No operational interruptions due to material unavailability

Foster a process-driven and system-based operational culture.
Ensure output aligns with the defined production plan.
Achieve high inventory accuracy (physical stock vs. system records).
Ensure 100% posting of batches and complete material consumption tracking via MES and ERP platforms.
Drive 5S implementation and sustain it on the shop floor.
Release timely and accurate production reports in line with internal governance practices.
Actively participate in plant performance review.
Lead the drive toward achieving and sustaining benchmark-level OEE.
Coordinate and support audits, plant visits, and required documentation.
Perform effective shift handovers as per HOTO (Handover-Takeover) protocols.
Plan and ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials, packaging, and consumables for upcoming operations.

Quality

Conduct all operations in alignment with documented and approved procedures.
Maintain strict compliance with input and output quality specifications.
Proactively eliminate sources of contamination using:

Best-in-class shop floor practices
Suitable engineering and administrative controls

Operate within the defined Standard Operating Conditions, maintaining performance within set control limits.
Support quality assurance, customer feedback resolution, process management, and troubleshooting through data-driven engineering solutions.

Cost Management

Identify and eliminate process inefficiencies and losses.
Enhance equipment yield by operating them to their design capabilities and beyond.

Team & Manpower Development

Build team capability through deep understanding of the engineering principles and functions of equipment.
Mentor and guide team members on key operational processes and problem-solving techniques.
