Shift Engineer (Maintenance)

Job Description:

The Shift Engineer – Maintenance will be responsible for ensuring smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical and mechanical systems within the premises. The role involves hands-on maintenance of substations, DG sets, and utility equipment to ensure minimal downtime and maximum efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

· Operation & Maintenance of 33/11/0.433 KV Substation Equipment such as Transformers, HT & LT Panels.

· Maintenance of motors, fountains, swimming pool systems, submersible pumps, and LT/HT breakers.

· Handle fire hydrant systems including jockey pump, main pump, diesel pump, fire alarm, and water sprinklers.

· Operation and maintenance of DG sets up to 750 KVA (Cummins, Kirloskar) and control through PLC synchronization panels.

· Perform periodic and breakdown maintenance of panels, lighting, lifts, kitchens, and other building utilities.

· Monitor preventive maintenance schedules and ensure safety compliance at all times.

· Maintain shift logs, report system breakdowns, and coordinate with senior engineers for repairs.

Candidate Profile:

· Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

· 3–8 years of experience in maintenance of residential or commercial facilities (real estate background preferred).

· Strong knowledge of electrical systems, fire-fighting, and DG operations.

· Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency maintenance calls.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to ₹30,000.00 per month
