Description
As a SharePoint Developer at our company in Mumbai, your primary responsibility will be to implement high quality, scalable, and extendable SharePoint solutions. You will have a proven track record of delivering client web applications and actively pursue technological advances and innovative ideas. Your hands-on experience with Microsoft Project Server and SharePoint Server (MOSS) will enable you to administer, configure, customize, maintain, and update implementations at the organizational level. Additionally, your expertise in Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) will allow you to design, implement, and maintain customized reporting of Microsoft Project and SharePoint Server data. Key Responsibilities: - Develop complex, drill-down, parameter-driven, adhoc reports with dashboard controls and Gantt chart controls using SSRS - Work from high-level requirements through detailed specifications, prototype, software deployment, and administration - Analyze technologies and technical processes for areas of improvement - Create and implement various technical specifications - Design and implement development workflows - Code, test, and implement solutions in a SharePoint environment - Unit testing for all assigned deliverables - Pack and deploy SharePoint solutions Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 1-2 years of SharePoint (WSS/MOSS) application development experience - Minimum of 3 years of pure .NET development (latest frameworks, Asp.Net 2.0, 3.5, C#, web parts, VB.Net, Visual Studio) - Strong knowledge of XML, XSL, and Web Services - Knowledge of JavaScript, AJAX, jQuery - Minimum of 2 years of working with databases and web services (SQL 2005/2008, XML, WSDL, ASMX, and WCF) - Experience with SharePoint Designer, Workflows, SharePoint Administration - Experience in developing Web Applications and Windows Applications - Development best practices - coding standards, source control, prototyping, and technical documentation - Experience with n-tier architectures Desirable Requirements: - Experience and knowledge of SS2010 - Experience of client-side development (jQuery, DHTML, DOM, AJAX) - Working within Microsoft's Team Foundation Server - Experience of Silverlight development - Experience of working in various operating environments - Experience of SharePoint architecture and design - Experience administering SharePoint forms - Experience of integrating with APIs Additional Company Details: - Good communication skills with the ability to communicate (verbally and written) to all levels of the business - Assist all developers as and when required - Self-starter who is self-motivated and highly resourceful - Passion for technology and the art of software development - Team player within a rich development culture - Excellent in creation of specification documents If you meet the mandatory and desirable requirements mentioned above and are excited about this opportunity, please send your resume to us with the job title "SharePoint Developer."
