Job Description

Job Summary:

The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for managing and supporting the organization's SharePoint environments. This role ensures efficient collaboration, secure content management, and consistent system performance, while supporting business needs through configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintain SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server environments
Configure and administer site collections, libraries, lists, and pages
Set up and manage user permissions and security groups
Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks
Troubleshoot SharePoint issues and coordinate with IT teams for resolution
Develop and enforce governance policies and best practices
Support integration with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, Power Automate, and Power BI
Perform regular data backups and ensure disaster recovery readiness
Create documentation for system configurations, procedures, and user guides
Provide user training and support for SharePoint features and functionality

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience in SharePoint administration
Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for administration and automation
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 and Active Directory integration
Experience with site architecture, user permissions, and workflow automation
Good problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills
Knowledge of data security, compliance, and backup procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

Microsoft 365 Certified or equivalent technical certifications
Experience with Power Automate, Power BI, and Microsoft Teams integration
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for SharePoint customization
Knowledge of SQL Server for backend management
Experience in hybrid environments (combination of SharePoint Online and on-premise)
