SFCC UI with Accessibility

As a highly skilled SFCC UI Developer with expertise in Web Accessibility (WCAG, ARIA, ADA compliance), you will be responsible for developing and enhancing SFCC UI components to ensure a seamless and accessible user experience. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and enhancing SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) UI components, focusing on creating accessible and responsive eCommerce experiences. - Implementing WCAG 2.1 and ADA-compliant UI designs with proper ARIA roles and semantic HTML. - Optimizing site performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility. - Collaborating with UX/UI designers, accessibility specialists, and backend developers to build inclusive web solutions. - Conducting accessibility audits, automated tests, and manual testing using tools like Axe, Lighthouse, and WAVE. - Ensuring SEO best practices and front-end performance optimization in SFCC-based eCommerce platforms. - Writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code using JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, and SFCC-specific technologies. - Working with ISML templates, Pipelines, Controllers, and SFRA (Storefront Reference Architecture). - Debugging and troubleshooting UI/UX issues while maintaining high accessibility standards. - Staying updated on accessibility trends, SFCC best practices, and evolving web standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: - 6+ years of experience in front-end development with expertise in SFCC (Salesforce Commerce Cloud). - Strong understanding of Web Accessibility (WCAG 2.1, ADA, ARIA roles, and best practices). - Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, JavaScript (ES6+), and jQuery. - Experience with ISML templates, SFRA, Pipelines, and Controllers in SFCC. - Hands-on experience with accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS). - Knowledge of responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and performance optimization. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to debug UI/UX issues efficiently. - Experience with Git, CI/CD, and version control tools. - Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: - Knowledge of React, Vue.js, or other front-end frameworks. - Experience with GraphQL, Node.js, or headless commerce solutions. - Familiarity with SEO optimization techniques in SFCC. - Salesforce B2C Commerce Developer Certification is a plus.,
