Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head - Marketing and Communications to lead our marketing and communications strategy for Seven Seas Hospitality. This role will oversee all marketing and communication efforts to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of hospitality trends, digital marketing, public relations, and brand management.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing and communication strategies to drive brand visibility, customer loyalty, and business growth.

- Oversee the creation and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, events, partnerships, etc.).

- Work closely with the executive leadership team to align marketing strategies with business objectives and revenue goals.

Brand Management:

- Lead the development and positioning of the company's brand, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and customer touchpoints.

- Monitor brand performance and adjust strategies as needed to maintain brand strength and competitive positioning in the market.

- Manage brand guidelines and ensure adherence to brand standards.

Digital Marketing:

- Oversee the companys digital marketing efforts including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media strategy, and online advertising.

- Lead the development and optimization of the website and digital platforms to enhance user experience and maximize conversion rates.

- Analyse performance data and adjust digital campaigns to achieve KPIs and ROI targets.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

- Lead and mentor the marketing and communications team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.

- Foster a culture of collaboration across departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with organizational goals.

- Manage external agencies and vendors to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.

Customer Engagement & Experience:

- Develop strategies to enhance customer engagement and retention through targeted marketing programs.

- Leverage data insights to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviours to deliver personalized marketing experiences.

Market Research & Analytics:

- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and customer needs.

- Utilize data-driven insights to evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make data-backed decisions for optimization.

Event Planning & Sponsorships:

- Oversee the planning and execution of events, activations, and sponsorships to enhance brand presence in key markets.

- Drive engagement and generate leads through event-based marketing efforts.

Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of marketing and communications experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the hospitality industry or a related service-based sector.

Skills & Competencies:

- Expertise in digital marketing, brand management, and public relations.

- Strong leadership and team management skills.

- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

- In-depth knowledge of the hospitality industry, market dynamics, and customer behaviour.
