As a Setup Crew member in the Banquets/Events department, your role involves the physical setup and breakdown of banquet/event spaces, ensuring all equipment is arranged as per event requirements. You will be responsible for setting up furniture and decor, positioning heavy equipment safely, maintaining cleanliness, and assisting in inventory management. Additionally, you will need to adhere to event timelines and adapt to last-minute changes efficiently. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and dismantle event furniture and decor based on layouts. - Safely move and position heavy equipment. - Ensure cleanliness and safety of event spaces. - Assist in maintaining inventory of banquet supplies. - Respond promptly to last-minute changes in event timelines. To excel in this role, you should: - Be physically fit and capable of lifting/moving heavy items. - Demonstrate attention to detail and effective time management skills. - Possess experience in events or hospitality, which is preferred.
