Technical Competencies Transfer Processing & Settlement Knowledge Experience calculating transfers implications for: End-to-end processing of domestic and international security transfers, including retail and institutional accounts Handling of internal vs. external transfers and partial vs. full asset moves Knowledge of settlement platforms: Clearstream (Germany), Euroclear and local custodians (international) Familiarity with settlement cycles and cut-off times across markets (e.g. T+2, T+1, and market-specific rules) Data Accuracy & Reconciliation Proven track record in: Matching and reconciling asset positions across custodians, ensuring correct quantities, ISINs, and corporate action histories Identifying and resolving breaks in transfer data, especially in complex cross-border or partial transfers Performing cost basis reconciliation and historical adjustments Coordinating with tax, complaints, and reporting teams to ensure data consistency post-transfer Asset & Transaction Expertise Proven track record in: Transfers involving equities, bonds, ETFs, mutual funds, ADRs, and derivatives Understanding of corporate actions (splits, mergers, spin-offs) and their impact on asset structure during or after transfers Adjusting and verifying fractional holdings, rounding differences, and units impacted by events Managing pending entitlements such as dividend payments, rights issues, and coupon accruals in transfer scenarios Cross-Border Knowledge Proven track record in: Transfers between entities under different regulatory regimes (Germany, France, Luxembourg, etc.) Foreign security compatibility, e.g. transferring ADRs to underlying shares or vice versa Ensuring continuity of entitlements and correct handling of multi-currency holdings Navigating operational constraints of market-specific rules (e.g. transfer blocks, residency restrictions)

Quantitative aptitude test score > 80% Case study: Cross-matching Transfer, Compliance Execution and Missing Acquisition Data Red Flags (Automatic Disqualification): No Hands-On Experience with Securities Transfers Lack of Knowledge of Core German Tax Concepts in Transfers Generic Customer Service Background (Non-Financial Services) No Experience with Market Infrastructure Clearstream (Germany) or International Custodians) in transfer settlements Low Attention to Detail in Documentation or Data Interview Assessment Areas
