Role Overview

ServiceNow ITSM Developer

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop
ServiceNow applications
and modules, primarily ITSM (Incident, Problem, Change, Request).
Configure
workflows, business rules, UI policies, client scripts, and notifications
.
Develop and maintain
Service Catalog items
and
Request workflows
.
Implement
integrations
with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Perform
customization and enhancements
based on business requirements.
Ensure compliance with
ServiceNow best practices
and coding standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve
platform issues
and provide ongoing support.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
Prepare
technical documentation
and participate in
UAT and deployment
.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Strong experience in
ServiceNow development
(ITSM modules).
Proficiency in
JavaScript
,
Glide API
, and
ServiceNow scripting
.
Hands-on experience with
Service Catalog
,
Flow Designer
, and
IntegrationHub
.
Knowledge of
CMDB
,
Discovery
, and
Asset Management
is a plus.
Familiarity with
ServiceNow upgrades
and
instance management
.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

ServiceNow
Certified System Administrator (CSA)
.
ServiceNow
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
.
Experience with
ITIL processes
and frameworks.
