Job Description

The role of a Technical Consultant involves being an expert in ServiceNow design and development principles, collaborating within a team, and expanding ServiceNow throughout the organization. As a ServiceNow Developer on the ServiceNow Platform Team at Schneider Electric, you will work on modules such as HRSD, HR Enterprise Lifecycle Management, and ESC Service Portal. Your responsibilities will include receiving, documenting, and developing requirements for HR Lifecycle events and HR Transitions projects, working on HR-related Performance Analytics Dashboards, ensuring regulatory compliance with enterprise ServiceNow standards, providing technical guidance, performing peer code reviews, participating in scrum development activities, resolving issues within ServiceNow modules, creating and maintaining API and data integration processes, and collaborating with ServiceNow Support. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience in capturing business requirements, streamlining complex business/IT processes, deploying ServiceNow capabilities in an agile manner, and demonstrating knowledge in the Performance Analytics module, ideally with the HR module. Strong leadership skills, familiarity with ServiceNow best practices, the ability to translate requirements into enterprise solutions, exceptional JavaScript development skills, analytical proficiency, and strategic decision-making capabilities are essential. You should also be adept at assessing and prioritizing different development options while considering business, cost, and technology priorities, contributing to global technology standard proposals, and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent, possess at least 5 years of hands-on development experience on the ServiceNow platform, have experience in various ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, CMDB, and EC Portal Development, and have worked on at least one end-to-end implementation of a ServiceNow module. Additionally, certifications such as Certified ServiceNow Administrator and ServiceNow Developer Certified (preferred) are desired.
