Role Overview: As a ServiceNow Developer with 4-9 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ServiceNow applications. You will need to have a strong understanding of JavaScript, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, DML, MySQL, and ServiceNow Configuration Items. Your role will involve working on New Projects/Change Requests (CRs), creating High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD), and adhering to coding best practices. Key Responsibilities: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Application Development, with at least 4+ years focused on ServiceNow design and development. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Oracle SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, DML, and MySQL. - Experience with ServiceNow Configuration Items, Business Rules, Tables, Workflows, and Flows. - Development of New Projects/Change Requests (CRs) using ServiceNow for backend and front-end applications. - Ability to translate requirements into Designs and create High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD). - Maintenance of source code, update sets, and the code base of ServiceNow. - Development of applications using best practices, design patterns, coding techniques, and naming conventions. - Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and practices. - Unit Testing applications and providing support for SIT/QA/Production verification. - Support the L3 team and manage the warranty period for production applications. - Proficient in SDLC processes and documentation creation. Qualifications Required: - 5+ years of experience in IT Application Development, with 4+ years specifically focused on ServiceNow development and configuration. - Familiarity with ServiceNow modules like Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, etc. - Exposure to other cloud-based platforms or technologies. - Experience with Agile development methodologies and SCRUM environment. - Knowledge of ServiceNow Integration methods such as REST APIs, SOAP, MID Server, and Web Services. - Ability to work with third-party integrations and knowledge of ServiceNow integrations with external systems.
